The Review
I'll like to make a minor note here. This review will be on both the anime and the ONA that was released to finish the story. It'll be to much trouble writing a review that was nothing more then the conclusion of the overall plot.
This anime is by far has the most interesting animation styles. Throughout the entire series, the types of animation varies and even the type of medium seems to change. Some of the styles include; Black and white newspaper cutouts, first person perspective, odd angles, real life photography, and even flashes of solid color.
Within the series is a few mini-stories that are based on Japanese ghost stories. Each story gives the viewer some sort of lesson or moral. You have stories that deal with vampires, cats, snails, a crab god, devil monkey, and even evil snakes. The main character helps each character he encounters with their specific problem with a help of what appears to be an American who lives in an abandon building to an old school.
There's a lot of talking throughout the series. In fact, most of the show is nothing, but talking. It's done in a way that still makes it enjoyable. Of course this is still just an opinion and some of you may find the show boring.
