Back in 2001, I stumbled on a program known as RPG Maker. It was a very interesting and easy to use program that allowed one to make a classic role-playing video game. I instantly became overly addicted and spent countless hours playing around with it.
Eventually I developed a storyline known as Timmy's Adventure. It was heavily based off of a SNES game called Earthbound. It was quirky and the plot was almost non-existent. The entire point of the game was helping Timmy deliver a letter to the King to inform him that a monster nest had been discovered near his poor farming town.
Over the years, I remade the game multiple times. Each time adding more and more to the game, until I drifted away from the original concept and became completely overloaded with all of the extra work. It sat on an external hard drive for many years.
Recently, I replayed it and decided it needed to go back to its origins. I've simplified it once again and hope to finish it within the next couple of months. I'll hopefully be posting updates and information about the game as I recreate it in the newest RPG Maker program, RPG Maker ACE.
