Originally, I was using a sample map that came with the RPG Maker program, as a proxy for Topi Village. Last night, I decided that it would be best that I finally made an original map to use. It took me awhile before I got something that I was happy with. As you can see, it's a lot more condense, so it fits the themes of the other villages and towns a lot better. I also added some areas that wont be accessible right away. I did this to try and give the game a bit more of an adventurous feel. There are countless games that I've played where rocks would block your bath, and you needed a hammer or another tool/skill to get past them. I decided to incorporate that idea into Timmy's Adventure.
In the very early versions of Timmy's Adventure, Topi Village always had a small graveyard and a small cave system. I decided to bring those back. To me, it makes the village feel more like a village. I also added a forester/lumber jack, who may or may not give out various side-quests that involve hunting down tree-type monsters.
