I'm a HUGE One Piece fan. I got addicted to it years ago after giving it a second chance, when a bunch of online friends suggested it to me. When RPG Maker ACE was released, I wanted to see the difference between it and RPG Maker VX (both looked very similar). I didn't really have time to form a story, so I decided to make an One Piece fan game.
But, like every other project I ever try to do, I ended up expanding it into this very large and complex game that expands through the entire East Blue Saga as well as all of the non-cannon movie and filler islands. Converting the One Piece world into a system that would work for a classic-styled RPG was a lot of hard work and I did many hours of research and tweaking until I finally got a system that would work.
In the end, it was too much for me. I just ended up getting burnt out halfway through and haven't touched it in a couple of months. I figured I'll add it to this site, since I will pick it back up and work on it again, and I'm so proud of how well the game mechanics turned out. I just want to share it with as many people as I can.
