The Review
Don't you love it when an anime has a really nice intro? Most people stream anime these days and when they do, they tend to skip the intro and ending scenes. This saves time, which most streaming sites limit these days. However, if you happen to catch it on TV, it's a nice thing if the intro song is enjoyable.
I know the fighting in anime is for entertainment purposes and usually isn't anywhere near realistic. Yet, I can't help, but have issues with something I saw in this show. When a person gets a limb cut off during a fight, you see that person later in the show with a fully functional limb. Since the show is of the Science Fiction genre, it'll make sense that they have the technology to create an artificial limb, but I don't remember ever seeing any scenes like that. I don't even remember any of the characters talking about it either. This kind of thing bugs me, because it creates a void of connection between the fighting and the actual storyline.
Has anyone else noticed that when you have a blonde female, she's usually a bitch who's secretly a kind person? I don't understand Japan's need to do this, but it's a quite popular stereotype.
Once again we have an anime that ends in a cliff hanger. The show is good, but the story doesn't get finished. As of right now, there's no announcement for a second season. I figured the DVD Specials and/or the Youtube series (Genetics TV), would continue the story, but they don't. They're just bonus viewing material for the fans.
