The Review
I would think that something like this would have happen awhile ago. Anime got quite popular half a decade ago, but only recently have companies like Marvel and Disney started to cash in on it. To be honest, I have mix feelings about seeing some of my favorite American comic heroes being turned into anime characters.
Those of you who have watched this might have noticed that other than the animation, it's no different then the american versions. I would think that Japan out of all people would know how to do a mecha based show. I expected to see some real creativity in the fighting and the way the machines work. Sadly, nothing new or exciting is done with the Iron Man storyline and the fighting is really lame.
The entire show is pretty rushed. For being a half season, they cover quite a bit. Everything from fighting off an entire terrorist organization, introducing Japan's own super hero, introducing Japan's secrete organization, introducing Wolverine's story, and back stories behind Tony Stark's reputation. This is a lot for only having 12 episodes. I have a feeling this show would have been a lot better if they had not rushed everything into a single half season.
