The Review
This is a pretty interesting anime. When I first heard about it, I didn't think I would like it very much. There's far too many anime shows where the male characters are pansies. However, I decided to give it a try anyway.
The first thing I noticed was the constant blush that all the female characters have. I've seen this done before and my guess is that it's to make them look more cute. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. In this case, it helped even things out. The plot actually tackles quite a bit of mature issues and the cuteness of the show brings it down a level.
Despite the cuteness of how the show looks and the slapstick comedy, it's actually quite mature. It tackles a lot of issues that people are faced with. Such as random fetishes one might have, but never want anyone else to know of or the constant fear of the opposite gender.
One of the most entertaining things about this show is the random references they make to Dragon Ball Z. Anyone who's a fan of it, should appreciate the multiple references to it. I've seen anime referenced in other anime before, but MM! has the best parody I've seen so far.
