Plot Summary Junpei Kōsaka is a second-year high school student who despises cats and has an allergy to them. It just so happens that his high school crush is Kaede Mizuno, a girl who adores cats. One day, while walking home from school, Junpei kicks an empty can and unfortunately breaks the local neko-jizō-sama (guardian deity of cats). He finds he can now understand what cats are saying, including his family’s own ill-tempered cat, Nyamsus. However, if he does not grant 100 wishes to cats, he will turn into a cat himself and die from his own allergy. (Summary provided by ANN and AniDB) |

The Review
This was a fun anime. Who doesn't like watching someone live a terrible cursed life? Here we have Junpei, a cursed human who has the ability to communicate with cats. So what's the curse? He has to help 100 cats before the end of the year or else he turns into one. The catch is, he's allergic to cats and therefor has grown to hate them. However, if he gets turned into a cat, he'll be allergic to himself and die.
One of the most interesting things to keep an eye out for is the animation. As you watch each episode, you'll start to see more and more detail being added. It was almost like they had an amateur animation team who slowly got the hang out of it as they did the episodes.
The only problem I had with this show was the fact that it never got finished. After the credits on the last episode, they claim that they there was going to be a second season. Of course it's now roughly 3 years later and still no word on it. Even the manga has been on hold. I'm not entirely sure why, but I'm guessing the company that is handling them are having money issues. The only thing we can do as fans is to support the show and manga by buying it and hope they decide to continue the story.
