The Review
Needless is an over the top anime that relies heavily on specials powers. Just about every character has some sort of special power that allows them to do inhuman things. Examples would include super speed, control of fire, shape shifting, and of course super strength. There's only two characters in the entire series that share the same power, giving the impression that everyone has a unique power.
The show starts to get repetitive about halfway through. It was like the creators weren't sure where to go with the story. Then of course there's a dry spot. A group of episodes that were boring, uneventful, and not very creative. You had to force yourself to continue watching and even then you had no idea if the show would pick back up. Thankfully it does. The ending is quite nicely done, but doesn't make up for the rough road that led to it.
