The Review
The first thing I noticed was the music. I felt that it was really well done. For some reason, I tend to notice that OVA's have better music and I'm wondering if it's because they're not shown on TV. It seems that this would cause the rights to the songs to be cheaper. However, I'm not entirely sure if that's the case or not.
The story is based off of a novel, but the anime doesn't seem to cover very much. I was a bit disappointing in the plot. The show seem to start off decently, but there's just something lacking. Perhaps it was the lack of closure for the main character. He kinda just keeps on trucking even though he's filled with grief and guilt. With no knowledge that anyone will forgive him, even.
All in all, it was a good teaser. They could easily do a short season if they felt the need to continue with it. It was only three episodes, so I guess for as short as it was, it wasn't that bad.
