The Review
Let's jump right into the animation. There are two types of scenes used throughout the show. One is a comical scene where they tend to use brighter colors. The other is a non-comical scene where they tend to use darker colors. Both scenes are used in every episodes, giving the show a bipolar feel.
The show is cancelled just as the story was getting good. The concept and overall plot was decent, but I feel that either they took to long or possibly they went about it the wrong way. There's also a chance that it just got a bad spot on the TV. Whatever reason, this show didn't even make it to the 12th episode. The company cancelled it after episode 11, just as the real adventure was about to begin.
Sadly, this is all I can really give you for a review. Just as the characters were getting interesting, the plot was thickening, and what looks like a great adventure was beginning.... It ends. Thankfully, the manga has 13 volumes and seems to be completed. I would have rated this higher if it wasn't such a tease.
