Full Movie Review
Genres: Action, Western, Supernatural, Science Fiction
Plot Summary
The U.S. military makes a scarred bounty hunter with warrants on his own head an offer he cannot refuse: in exchange for his freedom, he must stop a terrorist who is ready to unleash Hell on Earth.
Original Opinion
It's a movie based off of a DC Comic. I was interested in seeing how well it would be done. DC hasn't did a lot with their lesser known characters. They usually spend all their time promoting Batman and Superman.
Special Effects
There's not a lot, but the little amount there was, is well done. The bringing people back to life was interesting. I have no complaints on the small amount of special effects.
Character Development
I don't really remember much development. They pretty much stayed the same throughout the movie. Other than the intro where it explains how he became the man he is today, there isn't any other development. There really isn't even that many characters nor interactions between them (other than killing each other).
Soundtrack
I personally thought the music was awesome. My favorite song was the amazingly epic sounding music during the fight scene between the hero and the villain of the movie. I would recommend Youtubing it.
Original Media
I haven't read the comics, so this part of the review is completely based off of what I heard and read. I should have looked at a few comics, but I never was into DC. I'm more of a Marvel fan, but there's a few DC characters I like. I just don't care much for how they don't even try to promote some of their better characters and stick to the Justice League characters (at most). Recently they seem to be doing a better job. Like with Teen Titans and RED. Anyway, from what I heard the character is the same as he is in the comics. He's kind of a smart ass and doesn't take shit from anyone. He shoots and asks questions later.... Literally. For a man who can talk to the dead, why bother questioning them when they still can kill you? However, I'm not sure how well the rest of the movie lives up to the comics.
Final Opinion
All in all, I feel the movie was decent. It was worth checking out. I didn't mind watching it. However, I can't help, but to feel like there was something lacking. It's hard to explain. Maybe it's just me, but I really think something just wasn't there or they were missing something to really make the movie awesome. I liked it, but I wouldn't ever buy it. Unless I could get a really awesome deal on it. Like $5 at Walmart or something. Anyway, I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. It's one of those movies you should watch when it's on TV and you have nothing better to do, or your with friends and the majority of you haven't seen it and want something to do.

Note To Reader
By OVA, I really mean a 35 - 40 minute animated movie they released to help promote the actual movie. They did the same thing with Van Helsing. I don't really see it as a movie, seeing as how they're so short, so I guess it's an American version of an OVA.
By Manga, I actually mean Comic. I figured you guys would understand, but just in case someone flipped out on me I'm writing this to remind everyone that in the end.... They're both Graphic Novels.
As far as I know, there isn't a TV series, but if there is, I'll put the Anime banner. Why? Because Anime is (usually) based off of Manga, which is Graphic Novels. American Comics are like Graphic Novels, so TV Shows that are based off of them is really just America's version of Anime. Sort of.
In the end, I'm just too lazy to make new banners right now, so deal with it.
